Anouska graduated as a Physiotherapist from Auckland University of Technology in 2007. In 2009, she joined the Handworks team for the first time and under the mentorship from Julie Rouse and Sarah Waldin she completed the post graduate studies required to become a registered Hand Therapist.
She has spent the last 10 years working in London and Melbourne in both the public and private hand therapy settings. While in London she gained extensive experience in acute hand trauma including, complex fractures, tendon and nerve repairs and digital replants at some of the most reputable NHS Hospitals. In Melbourne, as a senior member of a large hand therapy team she developed a keen interest in the wrist and sporting injuries while working closely with some of the Victorian AFL and NRL teams. Throughout this time, she enjoyed the managing these patients in both conservative and post-operative settings. She was also involved in mentoring and teaching sessions with junior staff members.
Anouska returns to New Zealand and joins Handworks for a second time with over 10 years of experience specialising in hand and wrist injuries.
