Rosa Leggat

Hand Therapist

I joined the Handworks team in 2018. Since graduating from Otago University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy I had been working in Tauranga hospital as a rotational physiotherapist. I worked in a wide range of areas including stroke rehabilitation, intensive care unit, orthopaedics, medical and surgical wards and musculoskeletal outpatients.  I especially enjoyed working in a multidisciplinary team at the hospital working closely with doctors and other health professionals. It was during my time in Tauranga that I discovered a special interest in hand therapy and rehabilitation. Outside of work I love any outdoor activity or sport, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
