Selina joined Handworks in 2018 after her return from Switzerland. Since graduating from AUT with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2008, she has worked in the areas of adult neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation in the hospital and community setting as well as in paediatrics. She then travelled overseas where she spent time working as a volunteer in Romania before moving to Switzerland where she specialised as a Hand Therapist, working in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Since returning to NZ, she obtained the Certified Hand Therapist qualification (CHT) and achieved her NZ Registered Hand Therapist status. Outside of work a young family keeps Selina busy and she enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors.
